As our new Senior Network Engineer for KFC South Pacific, reporting to our Technology Platform Manager, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the operational support of existing approved technologies and future new technologies (hardware, software & configuration) in KFC restaurants.

ABOUT YOU – OUR NEXT ORIGINAL

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, related discipline or relevant industry certifications.
• Experience in IT assistance / project delivery, Operational and retail experience is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of hardware and system configurations, track record for self-learning and personal development.
• Experience with Macromatix, Eftpos, NCR Aloha, POS hardware / software and digital signage or equivalent highly regarded.
• Solid Windows and Network/Communications knowledge.
• Excellent proactive communication skills, with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Self-led and proactive, with a proven ability to work well in a collaborative, dynamic, team environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
• Flexible approach, ability to balance quality with time and schedule constraints.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a project team environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOUR NEW ROLE

• Establish workflows, processes, and procedures for managing technology platforms.
• Provide daily level 3/4 support for approved technologies, improve operational processes, and contribute to knowledge base.
• Serve as technical SME for strategy, deployment, and assistance of restaurant technology platforms including Internet & Telephony, Networks, Compute Resources, Observability, Deployment & End Point Management, Remote Access, Communications Racking, Backup & Recovery.
• Ensure compliance with Yum policies, document exceptions, and obtain approvals.
• Provide expert technical assistance during and post-deployment using standard tools and procedures.
• Drive initiatives for existing and new technologies (hardware, software, configuration, testing, deployment).
• Focus on cyber security and operational stability, ensuring secure, operational RIPT services.
• Proactively address issues, risks, and uncertainties with a risk-based approach.
• Coordinate with project teams, product teams, and 3rd parties for deployments and repairs.
