Senior Mobile Engineer

As a Senior Mobile Engineer in our international mobile team, you'll play a pivotal role in creating an outstanding mobile experience, while working on our native app and leveraging your expertise in iOS and Android to continuously develop our product.

We’re looking for people based in Helsinki, as we work in a hybrid set-up

What we’re looking for:

• Your background: You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience mobile development with a focus on native iOS development and some experience on Android development using Kotlin and Java
• Your experience in iOS:
• strong knowledge of the Swift programming language
• strong knowledge of UIKit and Storyboards, XCUITEST, XCTest
• Your experience in Android:
• good knowledge Java and Kotlin programming languages
• good knowledge of building XML UI, LiveData

Would be beneficial:

• knowledge of design patterns and CLEAN code architecture principles
• experience with writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
• experience with GitLab CI/CD, MacStadium

What you’ll do:

• As a member of our mobile team, you'll play a crucial role in creating something outstanding - packed in a cool native app, to improve the daily work of thousands of people worldwide
• Using modern tech stacks, engineering approaches and agile principles to develop the best possible software, that leaves our users with happy faces and makes all of our competitors look old
• Collaborate on shaping the high-level architecture of our mobile and enhance the product through coding, quality checks
• Driving technical innovations within the team and the product & tech department by looking over the edge of the plate and being an active voice in our mobile chapter
• Promoting user satisfaction by planning and releasing features and being part of technical decisions

If you live within a commutable distance from one of our office locations, we require you to work on-site at least one day per week, with Wednesdays as the designated in-office day. While Wednesday is the minimum, we recommend spending 2 (or more) days in the office each week.
