UX/UI Design Parental Leave Cover (7 months)

At Refined, we're seeking a UX/UI Designer who's able to hit the ground running and help us Make our products even better than ever.

This is a 7 month fixed term contract December 2024 – June 2025 that opens the door to possible extension, where you’ll play a role in evolving our products and enable our customers to make the most out of Refined.

The ideal candidate?

We believe the right candidate is a driven, team player that can balance user needs, and technical feasibility. Someone that loves finding simple solutions for complex problems, and can work together with product managers and developers.

What should you expect?

You will be covering for one of our designers while they are on parental leave. This means you will be joining one of our product teams and expected to collaborate with developers and PMs to continue the development of our products. Your work will impact thousands of users around the world, ranging from people in tiny start-ups to global enterprises - No one should have to use B2B software that isn’t intuitive and delightful. Key Responsibilities In a Nutshell

• Explore new initiatives and support existing ones with design prowess and knowhow.
• Ensure great design execution in together with PMs and developers.
• Support the development of our design system.
• Help us get even closer to our customers and potential customers. Be creative and figure out solutions that our users love
  
  

Practicalities

• This is a fixed-term employment (7 months) or consulting contract.
• Our work is built to be hybrid with team members in different countries. However our Product Design team is based in Malmö and typically works 2-3 days a week in the office. Given the short term nature of this role and the amount of context-building to be done, we are looking for candidates who are able to be in the Malmö office 2-3 days a week.

• 2-3 years of experience in UX-design
• Experience working in a tech company, preferably a Saas company
• Worked with design in an agile environment
• Technical proficiency, knowing what designs are easy to implement is a plus
• Fluency in modern prototyping and design tools, mainly Figma
  
  

Extra bonus points if you

• Have experience working with Atlassian products
• Worked in on site-builders/wysiwyg editors
