Salary €75,000 - €110,000

Responsibilities of Private Cloud Engineer:

• Automating manual actions
• Further developing and managing VMware vRealize Automation application that provides Self Service Cloud Portals to users
• Further developing and managing automated engineering workflows and VM deployments using VMware-based application platforms
• Maintaining and scaling all VMware-based cloud application platforms
• Development, testing & implementation of automation, using CI/CD tooling & best practices
• Technical setup and management of (cloud) environments
• Performing upgrades (new versions of components) and updates (patches)

What are we looking for in a Private Cloud Engineer?

• Automation through Red Hat Ansible
• Automatic provisioning of IaaS and PaaS services
• Databases in an enterprise environment
• Secure by Design
• Minimum Red Hat Linux RHCSA certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience with technical management of private cloud environments
• Familiar with hosting (IaaS and PaaS), high availability, high performance, scalability, and security best practices
• Good Scripting skills, especially Ansible, Powershell, Python, YAML, Javascript
• Zoning & Segmentation concepts of applications & data
• Version control / source code & configuration files
• Container techniques (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with Nutanix

VGB-B, or eligibility for VGB-B security clearance is required for this role.
