This is an exciting opportunity to join the business and be the spearhead figure in establishing a comprehensive information security strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the security architecture, ensuring that all IT systems, networks, and applications are secure.
• Manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents, breaches, and threats, minimizing potential damage.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, SOC 2) and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align security initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Oversee security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive security innovations by evaluating and implementing emerging cybersecurity technologies.
• Report regularly to the executive team and board of directors on security risks, strategies, and progress.
