ICT Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced ICT Project Manager to oversee IT infrastructure projects for their expanding fleet of vessels. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing and maintaining the company's IT systems, ensuring the seamless operation of essential technology that supports logistics, shipping activities, and port management.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver ICT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, system migrations, cloud integration, and hardware/software deployment.
• Infrastructure Support: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and telecommunication systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between the IT team, vendors, and business units to ensure effective communication and alignment of technology solutions.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors for IT products and services in line with business needs.
• Team Leadership: Supervise IT staff and external consultants, providing direction, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure or related fields.
• Proven track record of managing ICT infrastructure projects in the shipping, logistics, or marine industry is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of network systems (LAN/WAN), server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
