Entry Cybersecurity Analyst

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000

Position: Cybersecurity Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong IT background and a passion for cybersecurity to grow and develop under a knowledgeable and supportive mentor. The role is open due to the current senior-level engineer handling a large amount of cybersecurity responsibilities, and the team is looking to offload these tasks onto the new hire. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the company’s cybersecurity infrastructure while working in a collaborative and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in vulnerability management and cybersecurity infrastructure monitoring.
• Support IT security initiatives, including system defense strategies and threat analysis.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to enhance cybersecurity protocols.
• Utilize security tools such as Defender and Arctic Wolf to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cybersecurity-related incidents.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy in security documentation and reports.
• Continuously learn and grow within the cybersecurity field, demonstrating a proactive and ambitious attitude.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2-4 years of IT experience, including helpdesk, desktop support, or cybersecurity-related work.
• Understanding of infrastructure security and vulnerability management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
• A degree in an IT-related field is preferred.
• Cybersecurity certifications are a plus but not required.
  
  

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with security tools like Defender and Arctic Wolf.
• Mid-level cybersecurity experience for candidates who are a strong cultural fit.
• Understanding of SCADA systems.

Other Information:

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 remote (Friday).
• Interview process consists of 2-3 rounds: initial phone screen, onsite interview with the team, and a final onsite with leadership.
