Business Analyst

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and self-starting Technical Business Analyst to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding, documenting, and improving business processes, working closely with both technical and commercial teams to facilitate more efficient and automated digital solutions. You will help bridge the gap between business and technical domains, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and analysis of IT system capabilities, developing system models and requirements.
• Analyze business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Define solutions and transform business practices through collaboration with users and digital professionals.
• Work on system interfaces, functionality, and assess the impact of software changes on users and the organization.
• Develop testing strategies, review prototypes, and ensure the validity of test plans.
• Advise on business scenarios and define criteria to develop functionalities.
• Help design solutions that meet user expectations, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify and mitigate common pitfalls in digital delivery.
• Communicate results, manage statuses, and deliver system training as required.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes across the organization.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver change and transformation within organizations.
• Proficiency in mapping complex business processes using tools like Lucid.
• Experience with Looker, BigQuery, Retool, Zapier, Sage, and Close is beneficial.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and work with complex systems.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting well-reasoned arguments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile environments is preferred.
