Web Developer

TrueNorth are working with a growing fintech startup organisation who are looking for another Full Stack Developer to join the team.

They have developed a popular and successful SAAS expense management platform, and are looking for a new engineer to focus on improving the platforms usability and building on existing features in the software. The role would be well suited to someone that likes the sound of a fast paced startup, a natural problem solver and someone that is keen to make an impact.

The organisation are also starting to leverage AI in both their product and their development process - so it's a great platform to expand on these skills.

Key skills and experience required:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in C# ASP.Net MVC development, for more junior developers or around 3 years experience for mid level.
• Entity Framework
• Javascript
• Cross browser web applications with mobile friendly UIs
• APIs (RESTful)

Beneficial:

• Single page application experience (SPA)
• Native mobile development experience or interest
• Cloud
• CI/CD
• Any exposure to AI and/or LLMs
• Fintech / Accounting / Expenses domain experience

We have a starting salary range of £35k to £45k, heavily dependant on experience.

The role is working remotely, with office access in Newcastle and London, there is no real requirement to come to the office but may be useful if located around those locations.

You must have the right to work in the UK in place and already be based in the UK - we are unable to sponsor visas or support international relocation for this position.
