We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team, either remotely or at our office in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Node.js and related technologies.
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB to manage application data efficiently.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira for project tracking.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Proficiency with Express.js, NestJS, or TSOA frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.).
• Understanding of RESTful API design and web security best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (must-have); knowledge of German or French is a plus.
