As they scale, we’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join them and play a pivotal role in shaping their technical future.

The Role:

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the charge on our backend systems while wearing multiple hats in our dynamic startup environment. You’ll spend most of your time architecting and building robust backend applications, with some DevOps responsibilities to keep our AWS infrastructure humming. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting where specs evolve and deep product understanding is key, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using .NET Core as your primary toolkit.
• Write server-side code in other languages like NodeJS when the situation calls for it.
• Build and optimise complex database structures with PostgreSQL (RDBMS expertise is a must).
• Lead our cloud infrastructure efforts on AWS, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaaC) tools like Terraform to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with the team to refine lightweight specs and deliver solutions that align with our product vision.
• Occasionally dip into DevOps tasks to support our growing startup needs (don’t worry, backend development is still your main gig).
• Bonus points: Jump into ReactJS for front-end tasks and flex your full-stack muscles when needed.
• Experiment with AI LLMs to enhance our codebase and push our AI capabilities forward.

What You Bring:

• Extensive experience with .NET Core and a knack for writing clean, efficient server-side code.
• Proficiency in NodeJS and a willingness to adapt to other languages as needed.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Proven track record with AWS and Terraform (IaaC) – some Azure knowledge is a nice-to-have but not essential.
• Comfort working in a startup where ambiguity is part of the game and product intuition drives success.
• A love for learning new technologies and staying ahead of the curve.
• Bonus: Solid ReactJS skills to tackle front-end challenges.
• Experience coding with AI LLMs – we’re all about pushing boundaries in AI!
