Full Stack Engineer

NextPlay are partnering with a fast-growing AI-driven startup looking for a Senior Full Stack engineer who thrives on building and experimenting with AI-powered applications. If you're the kind of engineer who enjoys solving tough problems, moving fast, and seeing your work make an impact, you'll fit right in.

You'll work on AI-powered web applications, automation tools, and integrations with cutting-edge models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and LangChain. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute across the stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces.

What success looks like

• Build and deploy AI-driven web applications that users actually want to use
• Rapidly prototype and test AI features, iterating based on feedback
• Automate workflows to cut inefficiencies and boost productivity
• Develop scalable, high-performance applications with Next.js and TypeScript
• Work closely with a cross-functional team to turn ideas into reality

What you'll bring

• Strong experience with Next.js and TypeScript
• Proven ability to integrate AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, etc.) into real-world applications
• Solid backend experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) to support AI-driven features
• Comfortable making technical decisions and adapting quickly when things change
• Experience in fast-moving environments (startups, scale-ups, or high-growth teams)

Bonus skills

• Familiarity with Vercel AI SDK, LlamaIndex, N8N, or other AI automation frameworks
• Experience working with AWS or cloud platforms
• Background in gaming, apps, or interactive media
• Python experience for AI and machine learning tasks
• Mobile development experience (especially with Flutter)
