Project Manager I Contract until September 2025 plus extensions (contact centre technology)

Your New Role
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for all technology requirements, managing scope, budget, timelines, and resources, and working closely with key stakeholders to define project scope and develop plans. Your role will involve compiling high-quality project documentation, implementing regular reporting, providing expert advice, and establishing effective stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project using appropriate project management methodologies.
- Ensure project objectives are achieved within agreed baselines of time, cost, scope, and quality.
- Compile and develop high-quality project documentation.
- Implement and manage regular reporting on project progress.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on emerging issues.
- Establish effective stakeholder relationships and communication channels.
- Run procurement processes supporting project outcomes.
- Implement structures to collect, collate, and analyse data for benefits realisation.
- Engage and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders, vendors, and peers.
- Demonstrate leadership and motivate individuals within the organisation.
Key Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience in managing technology or large-scale transformation projects.
- Demonstrated understanding contact centre technology such as telephony platforms, systems of record and/or CRM systems, along with the policies, procedures and processes that support implementation in a government setting.
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience in managing IT projects in government.
- Experience managing large complex and multi-stream software development programs.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
- Extensive experience managing senior government stakeholders.
