Senior Software Developer, Elisa Viihde (Helsinki, Tampere)

It provides a couple of hundred different tv channels, live content, applications for Netflix and HBO, and e.g. Elisa’s own wide entertainment library. We are the market leader in our field in Finland and consequently, the daily amount of traffic is significant.

Our name is Consumer Services Development and we are part of Elisa’s Digital Services who innovate and create digital products on customer need in a sustainable way. We are talented team of Designers, Architects and Engineers who are supported by modern management.

We are looking for Senior Software Developer to join our Elisa Viihde team which is developing cloud APIs and the application across multiple platforms.

You will be on a team that is responsible for both new development and feature enhancements of existing service in the market.

What we are looking for?

We Hope That You Have Experience In

• Running and maintaining services in private and public cloud, serverless and containers, and you understand what the selection means.
• Observing and measuring the services you have created, improving them over time.
• Processing large quantities of quality data and understand what impact it has on modern software.
• Python, Java, Golang and JavaScript. You are fluent in some and but understand the others.
• Automating deployments to minimize the amount of manual labor.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers on good software practices and reviews.
• Fluent English in written and spoken
  
  

As a senior software developer you will be responsible for innovating with new technological approaches, upgrading the old ones and guiding other people to find the path to software excellence.
