Position Overview

We are seeking a highly-skilled, motivated, and innovative Full Stack Developer with a strong background in backend development, especially using PHP and Laravel. The ideal candidate will also have experience with React and Next.js. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable, user-friendly applications from concept to production, focusing on creating seamless user experiences. You will work closely with our front-end and backend development teams on key projects and play a critical role in maintaining and scaling our products as Pest Share continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications.
• Work closely with product, design, and development teams to translate user requirements and design mockups into fully functioning features.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications, writing efficient APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Implement responsive web designs with cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with both front-end and back-end developers to ensure system consistency.
• Implement security and data protection settings.
• Leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications.
• Engage in continuous learning and adopt new concepts, technologies, and functionality as they emerge.
• Show adaptability by re-prioritizing responsibilities based on changing project requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Solid expertise in PHP and Laravel, with a focus on backend development.
• Strong knowledge of React, MySQL, and Next.js.
• Experience with unit testing and familiarity with testing frameworks like PEST (PHP) or Jest (JavaScript).
• Proficiency in Git and version control systems like BitBucket.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong English language skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Knowledge of code and deployment automation (CI/CD).
• Experience in developing RESTful services and APIs.
