Initially 6 months daily rate contract

Dublin City Center (Hybrid - 2 days per week on site)

We are seeking a skilled IT Software Developer to join our dynamic Digital & Technology team as a Dat Rate Contractor As a key player in our Digital Delivery team, you'll be instrumental in driving the strategic ambitions of the Group. You will develop and deliver technical solutions within a customer-centric culture, enhancing the experience and performance of our digital properties.

Role responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of digital customer and advisor journeys on our digital properties.
• Contribute to strategic planning activities, including scoping and sizing.
• Perform critical analysis and peer code reviews.
• Represent the team in workshops to ensure optimal solutions.
• Mentor and train team members as needed.
• Collaborate with business partners and third-party vendors.
• Challenge team standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with new skills and technologies.

Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills

• BSc degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Proficiency in building SOAP and RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies, including User-Cantered Design and Design Thinking.
