The Project Manager will be in charge of managing Information Security projects, coordinating internal as well as external project team members, and ensuring regular progress reporting.
To achieve these objectives, the Project Manager will closely cooperate with the IT department, 2nd Line of Defense, sponsoring business area(s), relevant steering bodies, and other project stakeholders.
The context
In the context of a consulting mission for a banking client, the client seeks to reinforce its Cyber Resilience operations. The Project Manager Expert will be in charge of leading 4 projects which consist in:
- The review, design, implementation, and testing of the CERT/CSIRT operations;
- The implementation of Digital Forensics capabilities (policies, processes, technologies wherever applicable);
- The review, design, implementation, and testing of Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities (policies, processes, technologies wherever applicable);
- The implementation of Data Leakage Prevention capabilities (policies, processes, technologies wherever applicable);
The incumbent will lead the projects as well as produce deliverables such as process definition, process flowcharts, RASCI matrix, and assist the Program Manager in other Cyber Resilience activities.
To successfully validate the project outcomes, the Project Manager Expert will also facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, tabletop tests, and other training or collaboration exercises.
Your responsibilities
- Plan, manage, monitor, and support the projects in close cooperation with the sponsoring business area(s);
- Ensure that the projects produce the agreed deliverables to the required quality standards within the specified time, resource, and cost constraints;
- Produce deliverables in your field of expertise according to the project needs;
- Develop project plans, coordinate individual project tasks, and manage the day-to-day activities for the project(s) under your responsibility;
- Liaise with suppliers, coordinate and supervise the work of internal resources and external consultants, and ensure that contract and procurement requirements are met;
- Mitigate project-related risks, oversee project(s) budgets/costs, and report the project status to the project team and steering bodies.
Your profile
- Expertise in defensive Cyber Security;
- Experience in SOC/CERT/CSIRT management and/or implementation;
- Experience in elaborating, testing, and deploying security playbooks in collaborative environments;
- Experience and knowledge in Digital Forensics and Cyber Threat Intelligence projects;
- Experience and knowledge in DLP;
- Experience in Security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27XXX);
- Master's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or another relevant field of study;
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience, of which at least 4 years as a project manager;
- Sound project management skills and very good knowledge of the technologies, trends, and business practices in the field of responsibility;
- Experience in managing Information Security projects is a distinct advantage;
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (a project management certification would be considered as a distinct asset);
- Proven experience in projects as well as experience in coordinating technical teams in a multicultural environment;
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
