For one of our big retail client, we currently have the opportunity for a UX/UI Designer (Expert 7+ Years) - Digital Accessibility Designer on a contract basis.

Are you a seasoned UX/UI Designer with a passion for inclusivity and accessibility? We are looking for an experienced accessibility practitioner to support our product teams in Amsterdam. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with WCAG standards and incorporating accessibility into digital product development practices.

About the Role:

Join our Digital Inclusive Design, Equity, & Accessibility Centre of Expertise (Digital IDEA CoE). Our goal is to ensure that all digital experiences and products meet the needs of diverse customers and coworkers. Your role will involve compliance with technical requirements connected to Digital Accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with WCAG standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve digital accessibility.
• Utilize metrics to measure and enhance digital accessibility outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience: 7+ years in UX/UI Design with strong certification in digital accessibility.
• Skills: Deep knowledge of technical accessibility concepts, tools, and metrics.
• Bonus: Experience using assistive technologies personally and professionally.
