As an exceptional analyst and advisor, you will count as your regular audience Sunrise’s Executives. You will be able to use your creativity, technical prowess, business acumen and communication skills to solve some of the toughest challenges Sunrise faces.

We are looking for someone who thrives on digging into a business domain to find new opportunities, who understands the value of rigorous statistical analysis and spearheads test-learn-scale cycles to transform a business effectively.

Tasks

Our initiatives are always changing, so here is just a taste of the kind of topics you could be starting with:

• Nimble experimentation - from study design to actionable results. We’re designing a new approach to measure the impact of specific products on customer churn
• Proactive fault prediction & resolution - we’re interested in identifying technical problems and restore a flawless service experience even before the customer is aware of the problem
• New perspective - we want to pivot the way we’re looking at our business, moving towards a customer-first and share-of-wallet based perspective to understand potential and steer growth
• Data-driven upskilling - we’re passionate about helping the whole organization become better at using data to drive decisions. We do this through upskilling, coaching, and sharing our best examples on a regular basis
  
  

Requirements

• A University degree (MScs. or higher) in a quantitative, numerical subject such as Economics, a STEM field, or Business Informatics
• Excellent business analytical skills with strong knowledge of statistics and other analytical techniques. Experience in experimental design advantageous
• A pragmatic approach when putting together a POC, but a keen eye for detail and a stickler for accuracy when it comes to taking a concept to production
• Extraordinary motivation and ability to deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of at least one programming language (R or Python preferred), as well as SQL skills
• The ability and motivation to pursue and evangelize a data-driven, rational problem solving approach
• A drive for life-long learning and skill acquisition
• Fluency in written and oral English
