🌐 Your Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Giggle Finance, you will play a key role in backend architecture and development, ensuring our platform remains reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
While this is a full-stack role, we are specifically looking for someone with a strong backend focus, particularly in Node.js, databases, APIs, and system architecture, while also being comfortable working with frontend technologies when needed.

🌐 Your Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Giggle Finance, you will play a key role in backend architecture and development, ensuring our platform remains reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
While this is a full-stack role, we are specifically looking for someone with a strong backend focus, particularly in Node.js, databases, APIs, and system architecture, while also being comfortable working with frontend technologies when needed.
🔧What You’ll Do
- Lead backend development, designing and implementing scalable services and APIs
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and security across a distributed architecture
- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) to ensure efficient data handling and processing
- Collaborate with the team to develop robust, backend-driven solutions that power our platform
- Implement best practices in FinTech development, software architecture, and cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to frontend development (React, Next.js) when needed, ensuring smooth integration between backend and UI
- 7+ years of software development experience with a strong emphasis on backend engineering
- Expertise in backend technologies: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, and Microservices
- Deep experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB (or similar)
- Solid frontend experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript (though backend is the main focus!)
- A passion for solving challenging technical problems with innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- FinTech experience.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes,
- Cross-platform mobile development skills.
- Exposure to software architecture, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
- Experience integrating third-party SaaS services/APIs.
- Familiarity with additional languages/technologies (Python, Redis, GraphQL, SQS, Kafka)
- Leadership experience or a passion for mentoring teammates

- Generous Compensation: Salary range of $7–$8k/month with annual bonus and stock incentive plan paying annual dividends!
