Project Scope:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the management of IT aspects in a Warehouse Transformation/Supply Chain project part-time (0.5 FTE). This role involves overseeing SAP, non-SAP, and infrastructure components with a strong focus on infrastructure setups, supply chain diagnostics, and warehouse transformation projects. The successful candidate will coordinate virtual and dispersed project teams in a multicultural, international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead overall project management for SAP, non-SAP, and infrastructure components within the Warehouse Transformation/Supply Chain project part-time.
• Manage multi-vendor and stakeholder relationships effectively to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Apply Agile Project Management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and adapt them to the project’s needs.
• Ensure compliance with IT service delivery best practices, including ITIL standards.
• Utilize project management tools such as HPSM/SNOW and Jira to monitor and report project progress.
• Anticipate potential risks and develop proactive solutions.
• Facilitate communication across virtual teams and stakeholders in a global setting.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards effectively.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Support the implementation of Release Management processes.
• Travel as required based on project needs.

Requirements:

• MA/Eng. in Information Technology, Business, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development-related roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in coordinating project teams and managing IT projects of local/global scope.
• Proven knowledge of Project Management methodologies (both waterfall and agile).
• Strong understanding of Program and Portfolio management.
• Project Management certification (PMP or Prince2 Practitioner) is preferred.
• Knowledge of IT service delivery practices such as ITIL; basic understanding of Release Management processes.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with project management tools such as HPSM/SNOW and Jira.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to foresee potential issues and implement effective solutions.
• Fluency in English (C1/C2 level) is a must; German proficiency is preferred due to the connection with operations and external suppliers from Germany and Austria.
• Willingness to travel based on project or service needs.
