Network Administrator for future needs

Sopra Steria is looking for a qualified network technician to join our team of experts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring the stability and performance of our services.

You will work closely with our technical teams to resolve incidents, configure equipment, and implement network changes.

Tech-stack:

  • Cisco (Router, Switch)
  • Meraki (Router, Switch and Access Point)
  • Palo Alto firewalls
  • AWS and Equinix network cores.


Must-have requirements:

  • Experience in managing network incidents such as VPN, DHCP, WIFI, outages, slowdowns , and general network equipment maintenance.
  • Handling of change and request: Firewall rule opening, configure new equipment (switch, AP, etc), VLAN creation/modification, configuring ports.
  • Proactive actions such as review of opened rule on Firewalls
  • Network audits
  • Skills in managing public and internal DNS records.
  • Management of equipment backups and security updates.
  • English at minimum B2 level
  • Knowledge of French would be an asset


Experience and Certifications:

  • Similar experience in a network administrator position, any technical experience with the above technologies is a plus.
  • Any relevant certifications in network management (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist or equivalent).


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders (including calls to on-site technician abroad).
  • Proactivity and ability to propose innovative solutions to improve processes and operational performance.
