Who We Are Looking For
The Nike Global Technology, Tech Ops Advanced Reporting Capabilities team is looking for a senior Full-Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining JavaScript applications in a production environment. In this role, they will design and develop end-to-end solutions with a focus on data analytics, visualization, and notifications services. Our ideal teammate possesses a systematic, conscientious problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and empathy. What You Bring
- Advanced experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Redux
- Advanced experience using backend JavaScript tools such as Node.js and Express.js/Koa.js to develop RESTful APIs
- Production-level experience with TypeScript
- Strong functional programming experience across the stack
- Experience with data modeling, analytics, and tools such as Elasticsearch and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with AWS, EKS, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Jenkins deployment pipelines and monitoring practices preferred
- Experience with Agile methodology and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira preferred
- Understanding of modern UX/UI design principles, ideally informed by experience with a design system such as Material Design preferred
