Android Developer

Job Summary:

BeaconFire, a solutions provider company, is looking for an experienced Android Developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience who will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android platform and experience with the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Develop and maintain high-quality code using industry best practices
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Work with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement product features
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Android application development
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, MVVM and UnitTest
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, SQL/ROOM
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
