About the Role

As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our digital products, ensuring seamless and elegant UI/UX across both buyer-facing and brand/dealership-facing platforms. You’ll be responsible for defining and evolving our design systems, spec’ing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring high-quality experiences to life. While frontend development experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable design systems that ensure consistency across multiple products.
• Create and document reusable UI components, patterns, and guidelines to support efficient design and development workflows.
• Establish and enforce design standards, including typography, color, spacing, and accessibility best practices.
• Ensure design system components are implemented correctly by collaborating with engineers and reviewing front-end builds.
• Regularly audit and refine design systems to align with evolving product needs and user feedback.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that translate complex ideas into intuitive designs.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to implement pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Utilize Figma to document and refine design systems and UX patterns.
• Spec new features, balancing aesthetics, usability, and performance.
• Serve as a shared design resource across all product touchpoints, maintaining consistency and quality.
• Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong personal portfolio demonstrating your design process and final execution.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and designing for various screen sizes.
• Strong eye for typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and interaction design.
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems at scale.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of design components.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in agile environments, iterating rapidly to deliver high-quality designs.

Bonus Points

• Experience designing checkout flows with a focus on efficiency and conversion optimization.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress) for validating design decisions.
