Java Developer

The Opportunity

Join a leading bank's digital team as a Java Engineer at the Lead, Senior, or Mid-level, working on innovative and customer-centric solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing engineering team, building and enhancing cutting-edge banking applications.


The Role

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver scalable and secure digital banking solutions.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and provide technical leadership (Lead & Senior roles).
• Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance performance for enterprise-scale applications.

About You

• Strong Java development experience, ideally within banking, fintech, or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience working across digital projects is highly advantageous.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and Cloud technologies (AWS).
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead and Senior roles: Proven experience providing technical leadership & mentoring and guiding development teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced digital environment.
• Must have full, unlimited Australian working rights.
