Software Architect

NXT GIG is seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our team and lead the architectural design of our software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable software architectures that align with organizational goals and user needs
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new technologies and architectural patterns into the software development lifecycle
• Conduct code reviews and offer technical guidance to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance development processes and software performance
• Participate in the development of project roadmaps and strategic planning efforts related to software infrastructure
• Document architectural designs, decisions, and specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role with a focus on software design and development
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and architecture styles
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications in software architecture or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
