In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. You will monitor and analyze security incidents, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with security policies. Your work will be essential in identifying security vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain security solutions to safeguard organizational IT assets
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents, performing initial investigations and documentation
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security regulations
  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to enhance the organization's security posture
  • Prepare reports and presentations on security analysis and incident response activities for management


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in IT security or a related field
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
  • Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and best practices
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar) are a plus
