If you are a Backend software Engineer proficient in python and billingual passionate about technology, innovation and software development, we want to hear from you to our team for an important financial project. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in architecting and developing robust web applications that support AI-powered tools. While Python will be your primary language, this role requires a strong engineering foundation and experience with large-scale systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise-grade applications. This is an individual contributor role, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge platform while gaining exposure to AI technologies, making a real-world impact through your work.

Minimum Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Python.
  • Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong engineering principles
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Proficiency in system design and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-code).
  • Solid understanding of building systems for high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken). Preferred Skills:

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure working with streaming protocols, like WebSocket and SSE.
  • Hands-on experience on Django, and understanding of advanced features is highly valuated
  • Proven experience in system optimization, including the use of profilers and conducting stress tests.
  • Skills in database and query optimization are also a plus for the role.
  • Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with AI-related platforms or tools, although not mandatory.
  • Experience with other programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Go (not required
