Machine Learning Engineer

I am currently searching for a Machine Learning Engineer to join my client in Belgium on a payroll basis.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Python, Machine Learning and Java (Spring Boot).

**This position is also open to fully remote candidates based in the CET time-zone**

Your Role:

• Architect and Develop ML Integration: Design and implement the software architecture for machine learning integration within the product.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with stakeholders (product owners, data scientists, architects, front-end engineers) to align user requirements and standards with technical specifications and integration strategies.
• Back-End Oversight: Lead the design and review of back-end systems, including data access layers, ensuring seamless functionality and scalability.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging tech (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML) to refine back-end architecture and enhance ML integration capabilities.

Required Skills:

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong experience in software architecture and engineering.
• Skilled in Python and Java (Spring Boot).
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Proficient in machine learning concepts and tools.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and RESTful API design.
• Work Environment: Agile/Scrum experience with a collaborative mindset.
• Communication: Clear articulation of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
