Role & Responsibilities

You will join a focused Wi-Fi Data team responsible for:

  • Opportunity to gradually rewrite existing code in Rust (experience with Rust is a plus, though not mandatory).

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi drivers (e.g., Broadcom, MediaTek, Qualcomm) and in-depth knowledge of the 802.11 protocol.
  • Strong background in embedded Linux build systems (OpenWRT, Buildroot, Yocto).
  • Proven software engineering experience (focus on development, not administration).
  • Proficiency in C99, with exposure to Lua plugins and/or Rust components.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
  • Solid scripting skills in Shell and Pytest.
  • Excellent command of English (both spoken and written).

Beneficial:

  • Prior experience in designing automated testing infrastructure for Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Expertise in porting Wi-Fi-related software across different customer environments.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Location: Finland (Helsinki preferred)
  • Remote Work: This is a remote-first role; however, candidates must be based in close proximity to the office
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must have full working rights; visa sponsorship is not available.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: Up to €6,000/month for this mid-level role.
  • Bonus: 10% (distributed in two parts based on profits and performance)
  • Benefits Include: Monday morning breakfast at the adjoining hotel
  • Mobile phone and laptop of your choice
  • Culture and lunch vouchers
  • Flexible working hours within a hybrid work model
  • Comprehensive learning & development support (conferences, training, certifications, and more)
  • Health insurance, snacks, and additional perks

  • 🚀 Innovation: Work on cutting-edge technology in AI, network security, and digital life protection.
  • 👨‍💻 Team Excellence: Collaborate with highly skilled colleagues, including senior engineers, developers, and architects across multiple countries.
