Infra Network Engineer (f/m/d)

For our European Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main area (Offenbach) we are looking for an IT professional as:

Infra Network Engineer (f/m/d)

As a Network Systems Engineer (f/m/d), you will become a member of the Digital Infra Department and support multiple clients in the Hyundai Motor Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain network devices, such as Cisco Core switches, floor switches, wireless controllers, call managers across European subsidiaries. Monitor and analyze network

performance to ensure optimal data flow and security

• Implement and maintain security measures for LAN/WAN systems, following best practices to protect against threats

and vulnerabilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently. Apply patches, updates, and firmware upgrades, minimizing service disruptions

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, diagrams and procedures to support troubleshooting and knowledge sharing

• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide network solutions. Participate in regular operational meetings with stakeholders to discuss system performance and improvements

• Manage service requests and incidents through the ITSM system, ensuring resolution and providing timely reports to customers

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure SLA compliance and service delivery. Collaborate with third-party service providers for MA and on-site service delivery

• Participate in global projects, infra refresh, migration and upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years in enterprise network environments, focusing on data centers and customer networks

• Extensive experience with routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto)

• Proficient in networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, L2/MPLS, L3/MPLS VPN, STP, HA, Radius, TACACS, EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS

• Experience with SD-WAN, cloud network technologies, and VPN solutions

• Expertise in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds Orion, Nagios)

• In-depth knowledge of Network Access Control systems (Cisco ISE)

• Skilled in creating network diagrams and documentation

• CCNP certification, familiar with ISO 27001 and ITIL processes

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with F5, FortiGate, Aruba devices

• Knowledge of Cisco partnership programs

• Skilled in AIOps and automation tools

• Public Cloud, PRINCE2/ITIL Foundation certified
