About The Role

We're seeking a passionate Senior Product Designer to join our team and shape the future of our product. You'll drive through the entire product lifecycle, from initial research to final delivery. Your expertise in design thinking, user research, and visual design will be instrumental in creating intuitive and enjoyable user experiences.

What You'll Own

• End-to-End Design Process: Lead the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation.
• User-Centric Focus: Deeply understand our users' needs and advocate for their interests throughout the product development.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with product managers, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to define and solve complex problems.
• Design System Stewardship: Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and efficiency.

What You Need To Succeed

Experience

4+ years of experience working with B2B software, preferably SaaS enterprise technology. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries is a bonus.

Hard Skills

• Design Mastery: Expert knowledge of UX/UI design principles, including user research, personas, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, user interface design, and design systems.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business needs and the ability to turn them into effective design solutions. Comfortable with technical topics and can translate them into impactful designs.
• Technical Proficiency: Can work with Miro, Figma, and other design tools. Familiar with developer workflows and tools. Understanding of front-end and back-end development concepts.
• Problem-Solving: Skilled at breaking down complex problems and finding creative solutions. Can think strategically and tactically, working on both big-picture ideas and detailed tasks.
• Systems Thinking: Designs with the broader context in mind. Excellent at identifying patterns and connections.

Soft Skills

• Adaptability: Thrives in iterative design processes and is always looking to improve. Can work within constraints, such as deadlines and existing legacy systems.
• Proactive: A self-starter who can come up with ideas and see them through. Willing to take risks and learn from mistakes.
• Iterative: Always open to creating, revising, improving, and repeating.
• Ambiguity: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where things can change quickly.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Can explain complex ideas to different audiences. Skilled at storytelling to convey design ideas and get feedback.
• Collaboration: Experience working effectively with teams in a fast-paced environment.
