EMEA Leave of Absence
Location: Dublin South (Hybrid)

This role will require someone with EMEA knowledge of maternity. Paternity leave and ideally Workday experience.
About Our Client:
We are partnering with a leading organisation in the Tech industry that values the well-being of its employees and fosters an inclusive workplace culture. Our client is currently seeking an Interim Associate Manager for their EMEA Leave of Absence Programs to provide maternity cover for a fixed-term period.
Role Overview:
The Interim Associate Manager, EMEA Leave of Absence Programs will lead a team of Employee Success professionals in the effective administration of Leave of Absence processes. The focus will be on ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and delivering an exceptional employee experience during this maternity cover role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team of Employee Success Leave of Absence Case Managers, managing both in-person and remote team members.
- Analyse data trends to develop actionable plans supporting process improvements, program education, and innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess local and regional needs, implementing processes within a People Services context to ensure smooth execution.
- Coach and train Case Managers on Leave of Absence policies and practices, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to compliance standards.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to provide tailored solutions that address complexities across multiple countries.
- Ensure execution of key processes meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs), SOX standards, and local legislation, while proactively addressing risk mitigation.
- Partner with global shared services teams to ensure process consistency and implement necessary changes.
- Track and analyse service delivery metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead projects from planning through implementation for both global and regional teams.
- Deliver superior customer service to ensure a best-in-class employee experience.
- Manage escalations related to employee, business, and Employee Success partner inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of HR Operations experience, preferably in a shared services environment with a focus on Employee Data Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in human resources, ideally leading a geographically dispersed team.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, processes, and programs.
- Familiarity with time-off and leave statutory requirements across multiple countries is highly desirable.
- Project management experience (2+ years).
- Strong understanding of client motivations and the ability to leverage insights to influence business decisions.
- Experience with Workday and case management tools preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of preparing materials for various organisational levels.
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex cross-functional projects amidst competing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., MS Excel) and basic knowledge of word processing applications (e.g., Google Docs).
- Familiarity with relevant HR systems, metrics, data analytics, and lean process improvement strategies (e.g., Six Sigma techniques) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
