PHP Developer - Laravel / PHP 8 / LDAP - International Organizaton

For one of our projects with an International company, NTT DATA is looking for a PHP Developer to work remotely full-time for an international organisation.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Design and integrate REST services with a solid understanding of the HTTP stack.
• Utilize and implement software design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and the Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• Apply Semantic Versioning principles in version control and project management.
• Lead technical initiatives and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the security of web applications through proper implementation of authentication and authorization protocols, including oAuth, OpenID, and SAML.
• Work with LDAP/AD or other identity providers to manage user authentication and authorization.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science or similar.
• At least 4+ years of professional software development with PHP.
• Strong experience in working with Laravel and PHP 8.
• Strong experience in building/integrating REST services and a very good understanding of the HTTP stack.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, service-oriented architecture, Twelve-Factor App methodology, Semantic Versioning.
• Being autonomous, proactive, and ready to take technical leadership.
• Experience in LDAP/AD or any Identity provider, especially oAuth, OpenID, SAML.
• Experience in Magento APIs is a plus.
• Laravel Certification is a plus.
• Good experience in writing automated units, functional and integration tests.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, strong knowledge of working with git-based versioning systems and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a Scrum team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
