Senior Frontend Developer

Veyt is a fast-growing market intelligence company in the renewable energy and carbon market and our clients span across some of the world's leading energy and utility companies. We enable organizations with data-driven insights to optimize their climate targets and facilitate the green energy transition.

We are looking for new team members to help us plan and develop new features in our platform. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of professional frontend experience, proficient in modern web development tools, techniques, and methods.

If you have an eye for design, understand good user experiences, and can proficiently implement on a frontend stack then we’d love to hear from you.

We Think That You

• Might know and love a framework such as Svelte, SvelteKit and Next.js.
• Like solving problems by writing simple and understandable code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Can work both independently and together with the rest of our team
• Can create unit tests or integration tests
• Assist developers and analysts in conceptualizing and validating solutions that meet business requirements
• Prototype new requirements for the purpose of enhancing technical functionalities and information process flow
  
  

We Would Love It If You Had

• Professional experience with TypeScript
• Experience with tools and technologies such as Vite, Playwright, Tailwind, ShadCn, Drizzle, Storybook and TanStack query
• Proficiency in CSS/HTML, including responsive design, flex, grid, transitions, etc.
• Understanding of current UI/UX best practices and ability to implement them in designs.
• A passion for creating clean, responsive, and implementing the best standard in code.
• A keen eye for detail regarding web interfaces and user experience.
• Experience building interactive mapping using tools such as Openlayers/Leaflet/MapBox/etc.
