They are a cutting-edge SaaS company based in Newcastle, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to their ecom focused customers.

The Role:

As a PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the platform’s backend services. You’ll work with Laravel and AWS to create scalable, high-performance applications that drive the business forward. While the role is predominantly backend-focused, frontend experience (React, Vue.js) is a nice to have.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel)
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize APIs
• Work with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and performance monitoring
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in PHP & Laravel framework
• AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue.js) is a bonus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
