Information Systems Security Manager

NXT GIG is on the lookout for an accomplished Information Systems Security Manager to oversee our organization's information security efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security strategies, policies, and procedures
• Lead and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers to ensure effective security practices
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and address risks
• Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate remediation efforts
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance across all systems
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and update strategies accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field
• Extensive experience in information security management, preferably as an Information Systems Security Manager
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
• Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and guiding diverse teams
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are highly preferred
