Job Description

We are seeking a Penetration Tester with 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.

  • The ideal candidate should possess expertise in web and API security testing, network penetration testing, and cryptographic analysis, with strong problem-solving skills and an ethical hacking mindset.
  • This role requires proficiency in documentation preparation in both English and Hungarian and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and Active Directory environments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Perform network security assessments using industry-standard tools and frameworks, including OWASP and Burp Suite.
  • Utilize Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting to develop automation and custom security tools.
  • Analyze and assess network protocols, encryption mechanisms, and authentication methods.
  • Evaluate endpoint detection and response (EDR), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive security reports and technical documentation in English and Hungarian.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal security teams to enhance the organization’s security posture and defense strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in penetration testing and cybersecurity.
  • OSCP certification (Offensive Security Certified Professional).
  • Active Directory penetration testing and network security concepts.
  • Burp Suite, OWASP methodologies, and API security testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • In-depth cryptographic knowledge
  • EDR, IPS, IDS, and other security detection/prevention mechanisms.

Preferred Skills

  • Red Team-related certifications or security badges.
  • Cloud security experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Mobile penetration testing experience on iOS, Android, or Huawei platforms.
