Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team in Milan, focusing on the delivery of cutting-edge hyperscale data centre projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of data centre infrastructure, proven project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's exacting specifications. This role focuses on the overall project lifecycle, focusing on management of the process and deliverables rather than solely the construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete project lifecycle of hyperscale data centre projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of progress.
• Coordinate and oversee the activities of multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, and budgets, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations.
• Manage and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of critical data centre systems, ensuring seamless operation and reliability.
• Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping, including project plans, reports, and deliverables.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience specifically within data centre projects, with a strong preference for hyperscale environments.
• In-depth understanding of data centre infrastructure and critical systems, including power, cooling, and network.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
