Business Development Manager - Institutions

What is the role about?

We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate has a passion for crypto and trading and is driven to build and maintain strategic partnerships. This is a unique opportunity to join the leading cryptocurrency exchange in Europe.

How will you make an impact?

• Identify and establish new strategic partnerships to boost our exchange business. Examples are (new) blockchain projects, market makers and other institutional traders
• Act as the primary contact for our partners, and build out the relationship with our existing partners to foster a long-term collaboration. Use data-driven insights to optimize and improve partnership initiatives.
• Build an extensive network and maintain meaningful relationships to stay on top of key trends and industry developments
• Contribute to shaping the business development strategy and identify high-value partnership opportunities
• Work closely with product development teams to understand market demands and incorporate partner feedback into the evolution of the Bitvavo platform
  
  

How will you be successful?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 6+ years of relevant experience in trading and/or digital assets, preferably within a high-frequency trading company or similar type of high-demanding environment
• In-depth understanding and enthusiast of the fundamentals of blockchain technologies, algorithmic trading, and digital asset infrastructures
• Self-starter with the ability to originate, plan, and execute initiatives independently.
• Proven track record of executing multiple high-value partnership deals, from origination through integration
• Strong ability to drive consensus and coordinate processes with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in product, engineering, legal, marketing and beyond
