As we continue to expand and diversify our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our mission to use advanced analytics and machine learning to drive innovation and excellence across our diverse portfolio of businesses. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize data science solutions for various applications, including industrial manufacturing, energy retail, insurance, and trading.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to understand needs and gather feedback to inform and enhance data science solutions.
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to train, validate, and deploy machine learning and AI models.
  • Ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of models deployed in production environments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into existing systems and processes, or help define new ones.
  • Proactively research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive operational improvements.


Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D., in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and commonly used data science and machine learning frameworks.
  • Experience working with both structured and unstructured data, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and organizing data in databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Familiarity with computer vision and/or natural language processing techniques (nice-to-have).
  • Knowledge of mathematical programming and optimization techniques (nice-to-have).
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering end-to-end data-driven solutions.
