You’ll be part of the team that works on that VDR Platform. You’ll be part of a team that has access to the bigger picture, not only their code section. You’ll be involved in all the processes needed to brainstorm, create and release new features into the platform

About the role

Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, implements, maintains and supports information technology solutions by creating new and/or modifying existing software applications that provide a business function for the organization or its customers. Initiatives may range from small enhancements through the largest, most complex development projects. The technical environment for software development consists of multiple system platforms and a variety of methodologies, techniques, languages, tools, and utilities. Career level professional leading small, moderately complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative. Demonstrates specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions. Recommends new procedures.

Your Responsibilities

• Works closely with Product Owner to understand story definition and its acceptance criteria in order to translate requirements to design and implementation.
• Translates designs and style guides provided by UX team into functional user interfaces ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
• Support and learn from your teammates.
• Communicate well with other developers as well as designers, project managers.
• Stay committed to raising the bar for code quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Actively participates in the testing activities, e,g. automation of the UI components and the application as a whole, performance testing.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of user experience with newer components and server-side interaction.
• Embraces iterative development using Agile methodologies that involve design, development, and deployment.
• Contributes towards the maintenance and support of production releases.
• Interacts with the members of the cross functional organization to advance the development goals of the team.

Your Experience

• 4+ years of experience building HTML5 based responsive web applications.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Backbone, etc.
• Experience developing/integrating with RESTful APIs for specific functions and services.
• Experience troubleshooting cross browser and cross platform issues.
• Specific experience using: HTML5, CSS, ECMA Script 6, React / Backbone, jQuery.
• Good Experience with Java / Kotlin / Node.js, REST API / JSON / XML.
• Linux/UNIX based development using GIT.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services is a plus
• Familiarity with Typescript and NodeJS is a plus
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Postgres
• Docker/Container based deployments
