Data Analyst (Financial Services)

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with financial services experience to reach out to us!

Roles & Responsibilities

• E2E participate through the progress of a BI & Data solution project from pain point discovery to end solution implementation.
• Translate business requirements into analytical specifications for development & implementation.
• Identify opportunities and drive suitable data solution upgrade through automation, statistical models, dashboard or machine learning.
• Transform business challenges into data solutions by analyse and interpret the data while picking up domain business knowledge.
• Design and setup analytics framework to identify actionable insight, tapping on which business team can set data-driven enhancement direction.
• Communicate with key stakeholders from the business team and database support team, enable the cross-team collaboration and gather key information to elevate the data solution into more comprehensive and effective ones.
• Train and help business users to adopt data-driven mindset through project initiation & Implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or plus in Computer Science / Statistics domain.
• At least 3 years of proven project experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics related domain
• Proven project experience of data-driven insight framework design, setup and implementation.
• Strong in SQL, Python & Data Visualization tools.
• Experience in user growth, metrics creation, A/B testing, and data modelling.
• Background in banking & fintech will be a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset; equipped to deal with ambiguous problem statements and make insightful assumptions

This is a 1 year renewable agency contract position.
