Who are we looking for

As a Software Engineering I for the Demand Planning team, you will join a highly visible engineering team passionate about building applications that are essential to Nike’s end-to-end planning and supply chain strategy. As part of a growing team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to the design and development of new features, improving existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, a strong problem solver, and excited to grow within the engineering field

What you will work on

  • Develop, test, and deploy new software solutions in accordance with company standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, cross-functional teams and venders to design and implement software features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, bugs, and system errors
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and maintainability
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle
  • Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and implement them when appropriate

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or others
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and basic data structures
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior team members
