Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer | 6 Month Contract (Potentially longer) | Immediate Start

We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a team working on a range of applications in the insurance/healthcare space. This role is a 50/50 split between front-end and back-end development, with some authentication work involving Okta.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.

About the Role

• Focus on implementing APIs into an MVC JavaScript framework (Vue3) web page.
• APIs will be provided—this role requires strong front-end expertise.
• Work within a small team of developers on a variety of applications across multiple brands.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of web development experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML.
• Deep understanding of MVC patterns (Vue 3 preferred, but experience with React or Angular is also valued).
• Experience working to W3C web standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to balance technical and commercial requirements.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Must Have skills in .NET!

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with version control systems such as DevOps.
• Familiarity with authentication tools for self-serve member portals.
• Knowledge of Optimizely or similar .NET-based CMS.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Responsive design experience (Bootstrap, Figma, or similar tools).
