Software Engineer (Malaga region, Spain)

Sisu Group is a fast growing iGaming startup with offices in Tallinn and Malaga, and over 140 team members. We are on a mission to revolutionize iGaming and sports betting by creating the next-generation platform and products. Our offerings are 100% cloud-based, capable of seamless scaling across different regions and brands. So far in 2024, we have successfully launched two brands, ReSpin and Epicbet, on our proprietary platform. Sisu Group is founded by iGaming veteran Jan Svendsen, who previously founded Coolbet, NordicBet and Triobet. The majority of the company is owned by staff, with secured funding totalling €21M.

Within just one year, we've successfully grown our exceptional team of developers, scaling up to 140+ people. As we continue to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team in the Malaga region, Spain. Working hybrid - 4 in the office and a day remote.

The ideal candidate will have some years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, with a solid understanding of the development lifecycle, industry-standard tools, and best practices.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of experience as Software Engineer, preferably with TypeScript/Node.js stack
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy new services from the ground up
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• A strong interest or some experience in automation and process optimization
• Deep understanding of the application development lifecycle, including agile methodologies and best practices
• Genuine enthusiasm for the technologies and tools we use

Your role involves:

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop software solutions.
• Identify requirements, create specifications, and analyze business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Improve software performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and deploy cloud-based automated software.
