As a Lab Technician you will be part of the team responsible for cement slurry testing at our main office in Tananger, Norway.

As a Lab Technician, You Will Be Responsible For

• Conducting analysis of cement and other products and services received from vendors.
• Providing laboratory pilot testing of cement slurry and spacer design and reporting of results.
• Mixing and testing of fluids and generate laboratory data.
• Supporting internal projects and tenders.
• Ensuring the safety and accuracy of laboratory activities.
• Conducting maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Labelling and storing of chemicals in the lab, also including the maintenance of the records and discharge of expired chemicals.
• Packing and sending offshore laboratory equipment.
• Assisting in recommendations and solutions to the offshore operations.
• Assisting in contact, information and co-ordination of work from other BH cementing laboratories.
• Participating in laboratory duty system.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will

• Having previous cementing laboratory experience is desirable but not a requirement as inhouse trailing will be provided.
• Have a background or interest in equipment maintenance (mechanical)
• Experience of working within a laboratory environment would be beneficial
• Possess good written and spoken English & Norwegian skills.
• Be Knowledge of MS Office products.
