DevOps Engineer

Wanted: Senior DevOps Engineer | Utrecht | €90K

Tech: Azure | Bicep | PowerShell | AKS

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the central tech services team at one of the largest and most sustainable insurance companies in the Netherlands.

In this role, you and your team will be responsible for the entire infrastructure within an Azure Cloud environment. A significant migration is underway due to a recent acquisition, requiring a complete infrastructure refactoring. You will be involved in building automation pipelines, writing code, and ensuring system compliance. Additionally, you will assist Architects and Platform Teams with effective communication and cost optimization.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A strong infrastructure background, preferably with Azure Cloud (or AWS/GCP), including experience with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bicep, and GitLab CI/CD;
• Proficiency in writing code with TypeScript or PowerShell;
• Excellent communication skills.

Experience with containerization using Kubernetes or AKS is a significant plus!
