About the Role

Our client is a B2B platform providing casino, sportsbook, sport exchange, and payment integration solutions. With a strong focus on high performance and real-time data processing, the company efficiently manages heavy data traffic, particularly in the sportsbook domain. Currently, they are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer who can build scalable and efficient web applications while collaborating closely with backend engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Frontend Development: Architect, develop, and optimize React-based applications handling large-scale data traffic.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure smooth performance and real-time data rendering, optimizing for latency and efficiency.
• Scalability & Maintainability: Design and implement scalable frontend architecture for real-time updates and high-load conditions.
• Backend Understanding: Work closely with backend engineers to optimize API integrations and data flow for real-time processing.
• Code Review & Best Practices: Establish coding standards, review PRs, and guide team members in frontend best practices.
• Data-Driven UI: Work with large datasets, implement caching mechanisms, and develop high-performance components.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior/mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong expertise in React.js (React 18 preferred), Redux, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience handling high-traffic data and optimizing frontend performance for real-time applications.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (optional but preferred).
• Proficiency in state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Zustand) and component-based architecture.
• Experience integrating with backend APIs (REST, WebSockets, GraphQL) and managing data flow efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization, rendering strategies, and memory management.
• Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time data streaming technologies.
• Understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, databases, caching) to collaborate efficiently with backend teams.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), and Git workflows.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex frontend issues.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Next.js, TailwindCSS, or WebGL for advanced frontend UI enhancements.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP) for frontend hosting and optimization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Experience in gaming, sportsbook, or financial applications where real-time data handling is critical.
